I live in the Greenville area of South Carolina with my husband of 3 years, Cameron, and our two kitties Newt and Pascal.
I am an introvert through and through who also loves an adventure every once in a while! When I am not working, I love to fill my time with painting, reading, baking, and having friends over for cup of coffee.
Since I was young I always knew that my desire was to be a homemaker. I never dreamed of an office career, or going to school for years. I dreamed of having a cozy home to clean, prepare and keep. I find joy in getting in the kitchen and baking, or preparing a meal to share! I decided to create Sweet Carolina Story as a platform to gather a community of likemindedness. A place where the story of homemakers won't be forgotten in a world that tells us we should be anything but that. As I share my life and journey I hope you know there are so many ways to be a homemaker, whether you work full time, are single, don't have kids, have kids... You get my point! So come along as I share recipes, lifestyle, stories, and tips!
